Aubrey opted for the fast ride and Elaina below for the slow ride. The trotters looked scared, but afterward they wanted to do that again. Marilee, said let them do what they want, don't push them. However, I remember going to Magic Mountain with my mom when I was 9, we cried because we didn't want to go on "spin out." Mom made us go anyway, we loved it, and went on that ride 3 more times. I think pushing your kids to do what is scary can be a good thing too.
LENA IN FRONT OF THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN: A sign originally put up to announce a housing development is now Iconic.
HOLLYWOOD BLVD: Avenue of the stars and Seth posing with Spider man. People dress up and hope to be paid when you take your picture with them.
CHINA TOWN LA: We went to Hop Louie, a restaurant I went to for my Birthday dinner when I was 8 or 9. We need to start that tradition in our house. One on one Birthday dinners with each child.
Seth loves Sharks and whales right now. It is like his obsession with Dusty Crop Hopper last year. He wants this shark head for his birthday. Instead the tooth fairy gave him a shark tooth in exchange for his tooth, when his lost his first tooth in June.
I avoided fried food, and it was a much better experience. The animals were, fun and the rides were best. Elaina and Seth are enjoying a foot massage.
Lena's girl friends spent the night, only to rush down to the airport to say good bye to her. She was very tight with her band friends. I think the extra curricular activities, available at the high school in the states, were her favorite thing about America.
