Sequoia National Park, September 2008

We decided to go on a weekend trip to Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks to use our national parks pass before it expired.  Elaina was kept warm in the Baby Bjorn backpack with a blanket on the way to breakfast.
Yes, I am a tree hugger, but I don't believe in global warming.
Here we are in front of the General Sherman tree.  Supposedly the largest tree in the world by volume.
The high, rocky mountains look a little like Yosemite.  This is King's Canyon National Park.
Lastly, we see Elaina in her own personal sleeping bag.  Too bad she wouldn't sleep in it.  She will not sleep under a blanket either.
